Kamare me main kuch yu baithi hu

ki sang sath me hai sirf ye char diware,

Jo charo taraf se mujhe ghur rahi

mano enhe mujhase beintahaan mohabbat ho

aksar to mai hi ense bate kiya karti thi

par aaj pahali dafa ye batain kar rahi,

Ye dohara rahi hai har wo kisse

jise main bhula chuki hu

ye mujhe yad dila rahi hai

kaise main dosto ke sath ghanto batain kiya karati thi,

Chehare par na shikand hua karti thi

na hi kandho par koe bojh

bas hoti thi to wo khul kar hasne wali muskurahat

jo sayad aaj bhi en diwaron ke zariye zinda dikh rahi,

Ye yad dila rahi mujhe wo sari biti bat

jo kitani to mujhe yad bhi nahi

or kuch to kuch khas bhi nahi,

Khol rahi har wo raz mere jo maine sirf ese bataye the

mere anshu dika rahi meri nakamyabi bata rahi

kabhi mushkura rahi mujh par

to kabhi fakr se bahain faila rahi,

Ye diware aaj sach me bol rahi

sula diye jin lamho ko

phir se use jaga rahi
